Parents often feel guilty about the quality of the relationship they have with their children.
Big Dog Little Dog™ nurtures this relationship.
The Level 1 Teacher Training Course is a modular course for those who have a regular yoga practice and who have experience in working with children.
It is comprised of over 60 instructional videos and over 10 downloadable PDF files which constitute a full Teaching Manual.
The Big Dog Little Dog™ yoga curriculum provides practical ways for parents to connect with their child, to build trust and to strengthen the parent-child bond.
Who should take this course?
The course is designed to be relevant for those who want to be proactive in developing our human bond - especially that bond between child and parent.
You should also have a regular yoga practice, be enthusiastic about working with children and be patient and kind.
What is Big Dog Little Dog?
Big Dog Little Dog is a unique yoga-based curriculum for a parents/carers and children This Level 1course is for children ages 4-8. The aim of Big Dog Little Dog is to build connection and trust between parent/carer and child.
How is Big Dog Little Dog unique?
Unlike "family yoga" Big Dog Little Dog encourages 1-2-1 work between one parent and one child. If you have more than one child then this 1-2-1 time is especially important to set aside. Children love undivided attention from their parent/carer because they experience it rarely. As a teacher of Big Dog Little Dog you can provide an opportunity for children and their parents/carers to slow down and just be with each other. Big Dog Little Dog cultivates shared experiences which are nurturing, supportive and real.

"I think the curriculum that you have put together is brilliant and I am really passionate about teaching this to others. Encouraging others to learn about how our bodies move, to connect, to play and spend quality time together is surely one of the most wonderful things we can do. It is such a wonderful course. Thank you so much for sharing!" -- Jo Hellier
"Thank you for your generosity in sharing this course April. I honestly believe you've created something which has the power to change little and big lives of the better and I'm so honoured to be a part of it." -- Adele Cassidy
"The training was extensive and varied, to include hand mudras, experiential anatomy, various connecting warm-ups and cool downs. For me, the most fun was learning the 'FLY' section. The training left me feeling empowered." -- Nicky Frewin
